dB Technologies Inc. was founded in 1993 in Bainbridge Island, WA, USA. The company name was later changed to Lavry Engineering Inc. in 2002. At this time, the rights to the name "dB Technologies" in the USA were sold to an Italian based speaker company of the same name.
