Dan,
In the DA-10 you are using the Analog Devices 1955 DAC chipset. What are you using in the new DA-11? There is chatter out there that you have employed the ESS Sabre32. Is that the case?
I was about to make a purchase of the DA-10 when the 11 was released. I do not need the USB connection but do not wish to give up any other improvements in sound etc.
By the way, for those who have not seen it in print yet, there are two interesting DAC reviews in the January '09 issue of Sound on Sound and in the consumer What Hi Fi. They are both group tests and the Lavry DA-10 took top recommendations in both articles against the Mini-Dac, Benchmark and others.
Thank you for the fine work and American made products....

That is news to me:-) I am not using the ESS...
I do not like to talk about the "insides of my products" on a forum. A product should be evaluated based on how it performs (sound and specs), the features, relaibility, cost, tech support...
But I can say that much: the DA11 uses the same DA "chip set" as the DA10.
